By accessing and using SkillHub ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

SkillHub is an AI-native professional platform that creates semantic profiles and facilitates talent discovery. We are currently in beta and these Terms may be updated as our platform evolves.

Description of Service

SkillHub provides:

• AI-powered analysis of professional profiles and resumes
• Semantic career insights and trait vector generation
• Public professional profile pages
• Talent search and discovery tools for recruiters
• Professional networking and visibility features

User Accounts & Eligibility

To use SkillHub, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Choose either a "looking for work" or "looking for talent" profile type

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Public Profiles & Content

Content You Provide

When you upload content (resumes, work history, etc.), you grant SkillHub:

• The right to process and analyze your information using AI
• Permission to display processed insights on your public profile
• The ability to include your profile in search results
• Rights to use anonymized data for platform improvement

Content Standards

You agree not to upload content that:

• Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
• Violates any laws or regulations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains inappropriate or offensive material
• Includes confidential information belonging to others

Platform Usage & Conduct

You agree to:

• Use the Service for legitimate professional purposes only
• Respect other users' privacy and intellectual property
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or compromise our systems
• Not create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity
• Not spam, harass, or abuse other users
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

AI-Generated Insights & Disclaimers

You understand that:

• AI-generated trait vectors and career insights are interpretive
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content
• Professional decisions should not rely solely on our AI insights
• You may request corrections to factual errors in your profile

No Employment Guarantees

SkillHub facilitates connections between professionals and talent seekers but:

• We do not guarantee job offers, interviews, or employment
• We do not guarantee finding qualified candidates
• All hiring decisions remain with employers and candidates
• We are not responsible for employment relationships formed through our platform
• We do not mediate disputes between users

Our role is limited to providing the platform and tools for professional discovery.

Beta Service & Availability

SkillHub is currently in beta testing. This means:

• The Service may be temporarily unavailable
• Features may change without notice
• Data backup and recovery are not guaranteed
• We may reset or modify user data during development

We will make reasonable efforts to provide stable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime during the beta period.

Intellectual Property

SkillHub retains ownership of:

• The platform software and technology
• AI algorithms and processing methods
• SkillHub branding and trademarks
• Aggregated and anonymized insights derived from user data

You retain ownership of your original content, but grant us the rights necessary to operate the Service as described above.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillHub shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from AI-generated content or insights
• Actions taken by other users of the platform
• Third-party content or services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service (currently $0 during beta).

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Legal or regulatory requirements
• Extended inactivity

Upon termination, your public profile may remain temporarily visible during our data processing procedures.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

Governing Law
